What Does Staging Cost?
The cost of staging depends on the needs of your property. Costs may also vary depending on whether it is an occupied home, a vacant home or a home for flipping by an investor. You can expect to pay a staging fee between .25% and 1% of the listing price. We typically recommend a budget of at least 1% up to 8% or so of the listing price depending on the size of the property and the amount of renovations needed for key areas like the kitchen, bathrooms and the curb.
We are able to provide our own inventory for staging your property. This requires a minimum of three months on a rental agreement. Our inventory usually covers key areas like the living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast room, master bedroom suite, game room, study, and foyer, with all furniture and accessories included. Vacant property staging starts at $2500 for three months for furnishings only.
A two-hour consultation for home staging is $297. The time is spent touring the home and giving you ideas, tips and recommendations for staging.
What is included in your staging fees:
A custom and comprehensive plan for staging your home within the budget specified.
Paint color selection for key rooms (or whole home depending on existing colors)
Coordinate with contractors and scheduling deliveries, including tearing down later
Decluttering, de-personalizing and organizing
Shopping
